Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On February 16, 2023, Skye Bioscience, Inc. (the "Company") filed a Current Report on Form 8-K (the "Initial 8-K") to report the appointment of Dr. Deborah Charych, Ph.D. as a director of the Company's Board of Directors (the "Board"). At the time of the Initial 8-K, the Board had not determined the committees on which Dr. Charych would serve, if any. This Amendment No. 1 to the Initial 8-K is being filed to report that on March 21, 2023, the Board appointed Dr. Charych to serve on the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee of the Board, effective immediately.
